All my clients receive my full attention to detail, both historic sort and decorative enhancement; initial thoughts through to final designs are presented in original sketchbooks and mood boards following a vigorous research stage. I communicate throughout all stages of design and realisation with my clients, be they directors, actors or those unique one to one commissions.

I enjoy all aspects of theatre design practice, and I get most satisfaction working with hands on companies. Predominantly a designer and maker, I do however thrive in a building backstage environment as an ASM, props maker, dresser. Even turn my hand to basic technical bits and pieces, (Including my time In St Tropez, perched on an upturned crate wearing my best heels while operation g the cabaret follow spot…I know , I know…not very pro, but I was there as a costume designer. I do own steel toe caps boots! Honest.)

I value challenges that encourage improvement in my skills in costume drawing, design and making, as well as supporting ideas, team work and collaboration of the visual arts. I aspire to develop my skills in all areas of theatre design.

Based in the North West of England, I am prepared to travel to jobs, and of course leave the world of normality behind.
